More Information on Ukiah's Mysterious Deaths

Vampires aren’t real.  Mysterious plagues are unlikely.  A bad batch of drugs is a possibility but until the toxicology is completed in about two weeks no one knows what is causing the recent unexplained deaths of three men in Ukiah.  The first two were relatively young men–Emanuel Reeves, 18, and Angelo Crabtree, 30 and are cousins who were found dead in the residence of another relative.  There was no sign of any violence or other obvious trauma.

Then yesterday the body of a transient was found in a park  near the Grace Hudson Museum.  The man who has just been identified as Daniel Hastings, 48, was reported as unresponsive at nearly two in the afternoon just off of South Main Street. A Ukiah Police Detective, according to the Ukiah Daily Journal, said that there were no obvious signs of foul play and “as of yet, no foul play is suspected.”
