Grave New World

A brand new history blog is digging up dirt on Humboldt cemeteries and the folk who inhabit them.  The first post talks about two settlers of this area who are buried at the Petrolia Pioneer Cemetery. Below is a picture of one of them, Mrs. Martha Ann Wright. (Those white eyes are somewhat creepifying.)

History buffs and fans of Lynette’s NorCal History Blog will enjoy this new entry into the Humboldt Blogosphere.

Thanks for the info. Those are glasses, not white eyes, I think.

Of course…It must have been the late night writing in a silent house that made this photo so eerie.
