Help Betty Chinn and Help the Homeless
Betty Chinn’s help for the Humboldt homeless has garnered her national attention. I’ve admired her work for some time. But it’s not always easy to hand over cash to help. I just learned of something almost everyone can do. Tonight I received the following note on Facebook.
The Eureka Nazarene Church will be hosting a rummage sale for Betty on Saturday, April 2. This will be an important fundraiser for Betty. If you have any items sitting around your home that you would like to donate when the time gets closer, please contact Lisa at [email protected]. Furniture, kitchen appliances, pots and pans, tools, misc. household items, etc….anything in good condition would be welcome and appreciated!
I have some good stuff that I’m putting aside. Hope you’ll join me.
