Election Day
Election Day–where once again the mass of us hopes everyone else has done their research better than we have individually.
Today marks again my twice yearly descent into feeling like I deserve a tyrant because I have once again failed to thoroughly research candidates and issues.
I read newspapers, listen to radio programs, search the internet and once again feel unprepared for such a weighty responsibility.
I hope you all have done better than I.

You are ever bit as qualified to vote as some of the people that we put in office. At least your approach to voting is based in honesty. Most of the higher level politicians have sold out before they even sign on to run for office.
I just voted. My philosophy is, if I don’t understand what a candidate’s position is, I don’t vote for them. That’s the worst thing you can do, in my opinion. You don’t need to understand every aspect of someone’s platform, as long as you know the nuts and bolts.

Well, I don’t know if I knew enough about the candidates, but I voted tonight.
It’ll be interesting to see the results.

That’s good vote! That makes all of you responsible for what these corrupt people do in your name.
