Electricity Out in Salmon Creek

Electricity went out in the Salmon Creek area early this morning when a tree fell across the power lines at a residence (Mrs. Anderson’s)  not far from the bumper factory.  Neil Kemp Jr. (my brother) spoke with a PG&E representative who said that the power was expected to be off for a couple more hours.

  • What a beautiful place. I remember Mr. Anderson bringing in the sheep with his wonderful dog. The perfect garden and fruit trees. Time passes, sigh.

  • Mrs. Anderson is still very much alive. She was at my parents’ 50th and very kind to me. Someday, I hope to interview her for Salmon Creek history. If life would just slow down.
