Electricity Out in Salmon Creek

Electricity went out in the Salmon Creek area early this morning when a tree fell across the power lines at a residence (Mrs. Anderson’s)  not far from the bumper factory.  Neil Kemp Jr. (my brother) spoke with a PG&E representative who said that the power was expected to be off for a couple more hours.

What a beautiful place. I remember Mr. Anderson bringing in the sheep with his wonderful dog. The perfect garden and fruit trees. Time passes, sigh.

Mrs. Anderson is still very much alive. She was at my parents’ 50th and very kind to me. Someday, I hope to interview her for Salmon Creek history. If life would just slow down.

That would be a fine interview… I never met them but sure admired their industry.
