Our Town
[broken link deleted]
A friend sent this to me saying, “I watched it thinking of our home and the changes & struggles we may be facing. I cried a little… I’m afraid. I see a culture and a way of life being pushed out & I can’t be angry because it’s righting a wrong. [But] I don’t want this to be “our song”.”
Me, neither.
I cried a little too. Watching beautiful things pass away is hard. No matter what happens, change is coming. It might even be good but I’ll miss what was.

Apparently “change” is the only reliable constant in this life of ours. Thanks for the video. It reminds me that we are riding on Mother Earth, the great feminine body of knowledge, ceremony, sacredness. Our own bodies change, our minds change as do our kids (who grow into beautiful adults, as we did before them), and ultimately, the world around each of us changes. Your efforts to guide, inform, encourage and educate those in your world will only contribute in a huge and positive way to easier and healthier changes.
Well said, Laura….pretty much how I feel. I, personally don’t like change when it happens, but I’m, also, always looking forward to what is just around the corner.
