Love That KHSU
Several times over the years , someone has heard my name on the KHSU pledge drive. “Hey,” they ask, “What are you doing that for? People don’t have to pay.” And you don’t. No one makes you dish out any money. You can just turn on the news to excellent national coverage and listen without cost.
But nothing is really free. Someone, somewhere is paying for it. I’m one of those people raised on “rural values.” Values that say “I take care of my debts” and “I help my neighbors.” Once again this year, I’ll be donating–paying, in small part, for the access that I value. And, hopefully, helping out a neighbor that can’t afford to contribute.
Hopefully, you’ll join me. KHSU donations can be made here.
