Missing Person
Josh Palmquist: Missing for Three Weeks
Like signal fires across the mountains, word spreads about a local missing man.
A fellow blogger sent me an email explaining that a long time friend’s brother has been missing for three weeks, would I spread the word. The brother, Josh Palmquist (35), has been living in Arcata. According to his sister, the star water polo athlete who ranked number 1 in California got “really good grades, really good test scores” but suffered from depression.
The family believes he may have tried to hitchhike to the Bay Area and is hoping to hear from someone who may have news of him.
“He would have contacted us if he could have. He would have called us by now,” she said. “In some ways it’s like going into a really dark tunnel and you can’t see your way out of it.”
If you have seen him please contact the police. Or you can report anonymously to this site.

As far as I know, no. The posts and messages going around my HS graduating class about him on Facebook have slowed, but the older posts remain, so I’m guessing he’s still missing.

I did a search for any news and didn’t find anything. Probably in this case, no news is bad news.
