Gorgeous. It is like a watercolor. How did you achieve it?

It was foggy and rainy when I took it from far away. I zoomed in (which makes it more pixely) and then I softened it on Lightroom. I like this watercolor look but my family raises their eyebrows.

On a less artistic note, what do you think is causing the splashes of gold and yellow on the buckeyes and maples this year? SOD? Have you seen this before? mark

This is worrying me, too! Buckeyes always turn gold faster than other trees but they have barely started to flower.

Well, I’m raising my eyebrows because this is simply lovely. It does have a watercolor fee, which works so well with this image.

I am assuming you are referring to all those males in your household when you say they are raising their eyebrows. I love this photo, and I am family!

You are right,;> It is my immediate masculine surroundings who are less than impressed.

I love this photo, too. And now that you told us you used to draw wildflowers when you first moved up there, I know why you are such an artist with the camera.

I only drew them for myself. It is a way of really seeing something. No one would have been impressed;>

Buckaroo Bonsai! I love the dreamy quality you gave it. Lone trees in open meadows are so poetic; you really brought out the character of this old fellow.

I’m in for the water color look too, seems to allow my mind to wander.
