That photo is amazing. And YOUR haikus I like. The point of confining an entire poem’s worth of emotion, beauty, insight or awareness into just a few syllables is to be profound. Political haikus, like on another blog I know, make me want to run screaming into the wilderness. Now, I have to go check my roses for frost.

Love that haiku and the frosted flower foto.
Snow fell here this morning but didn’t stick. Now I think it is just cold cold rain.
Real snow fell
The wonder was note by Kym
All was well
The Snow Fell
But melted all to soon
Sunshine peeked.
Beautiful flower, Kym.

Your eye sees beauty
while freezing time
thoughts frozen too
in nature’s rhyme
Oh, that’s so evocative!
Great pic Kym. Gotcha bokeh on, eh?
😉
So pretty! Love the micro aspect of it.
oh wow. looks like a candied flower for a cake perhaps.
That really is quite pretty. I like your haiku, too. I’ve never attempted writing one, maybe I will someday. 🙂
Thanks everyone.
Ernie, Jen and Dave, Thank you especially. I love a touch of poetry in my day.
My nose is froze,
My toes is froze,
My knees is freeze.
Especially after yesterday.
