Luckily I live in a security building, and we don’t get trick-or-treaters, so I wait and buy the candy after Halloween, when it’s on sale.
Love the jack-o-lantern. That’s a great spider, almost looks like it has a cat as the thorax.

Spooky Jack-o-lantern!
I’m seriously considering giving away McDonald’s toys instead of candy this year. We get very few trick-or-treaters, some years none. If I buy candy I will probably be tempted beyond my ability to withstand, unless I buy something I don’t like. And what’s the fun of that?
Nice. It seems almost digitally created, I’m guessing because of the apperature and shutter speed that ended up being used. Fits this season of halloween.
Elizabeth, Reese’s are irresistible! I haven’t bought the candy yet but it will include Reese’s when I do.
Silverstar, I’m sorry you will miss trick-or-treaters. We don’t get many because we live so far out but the neighborhood gets together and the kids usually all come around in one or two cars sometimes they even sing Halloween songs. They’re wonderful but so is cheap after Halloween candy. I hope I can resist.
Aunt Jackie, I bought some glow sticks at the dollar store. Those are usually popular and not near as fattening;>
Maggie, We had a blast carving it but I had a heck of a time photographing it so that just the light shown through without a flash but still relatively crisp.

that’s great! I bought a large bag of mini-Reeses a week or so ago. Not a good plan .. I am almost out of candy, and it’s not even Halloween. 🙂
