Every wedding is unique–beautiful in its own way but, a staple of nearly every wedding reception is each bride proudly showing her ring to her friends. Here, two professionals, one a teacher and one an engineer, take a moment to engage in traditional oooing and ahhing.
They make a sweet picture, don’t they?
Yet, I’ve known these women for years and they are both more lovely inside than they appear on the outside.
For locals, the bride with the beautiful hands is Tara Puzin, daughter of Don and Patty and the striking young woman looking at her ring is Elly Hollis, daughter of Renee and Ken, soon to be married herself.

All our little girls have grown up and many are getting married. I feel old.

This post reminds me of a former girlfriend who at a wedding where everyone got seriously drunk….thing is she found in the ladies room the brides ring with the diamonds and all (maybe it was the engagement ring dunno) thing is she kept it a afterwards sold it to my mom…I wasnt there so im no accomplice to anything, maybe my mom though.
Moral of the story, dont get drunk at your wedding

My cousin or not, you’re absolutely right Joe Mendo, Elly is very photogenic. This picture, tho, makes me homesick, thinking about all the family things I missed out on last weekend – including my only niece’s first birthday. 🙁
I just came back from my granddaughter’s wedding. Talk about feeling old. I am old.
