DEA Helicopter Buzzes Salmon Creek
Helicopter seen above Salmon Creek today
During the afternoon, a low flying green helicopter drew slow lazy circles in the air above Salmon Creek. It was observed in the lower area called Swinnockville and near the top of the watershed on the Samuel’s Loop side. The FCC identification number shows, according to this site, that it is a Drug Enforcement Agency helicopter using the radio call of Eagle 17.
KMUD reported this evening that CAMP (Campaign Against Marijuana Production) was operating in the county the last few days.

For some reason I can’t get the larger photo to upload but the identification number is N540DB. and the person sitting in the rear is wearing a sweatshirt with the hood up. Seems the DEA wanted to get a good look at my parent’s garden so we were able to get too close of a look at them.
Under 500 feet, I assume.
I think so but I’m no expert.
You forgot to mention that your parents’ garden consists of corn, tomatoes and green beans – cetainly nothing that the DEA would have been interested in. 🙂
Hmm, I think those tomatoes look suspicious.
We got buzzed and circled. But you know, now we are famous. LOL It must have been the paparazzi.
Now, that I know you were the cause of the increased air traffic I’m going to have reassess my idea of you as a good neighbor!
It must be CAMP-ing season.
🙂
