The Reflection from My Mother
My Mom
Daily Photo #26
In a small town, your parents’ reputation is partly yours.
Always, my life has been made easier by being born to good people. My mother’s warm manner and willingness to help others reflected on me making me appear a better person.
“Oh, you’re Myrna’s daughter,” is the prelude to doors opening and people smiling.
I have been blessed by her kindness to others.
Thank you so much, Mom.
I love you.

What a wonderful tribute to a wonderful woman! Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers.
I feel terribly complacent saying this but it is true, “She is wonderful, isn’t she?” May everybody be so lucky.
Happy Mom’s day to everybody–especially you, Aunt Jackie.
Gratitude (grown from awareness) is probably one of the strongest underlying themes of your blog, Kym – it seems to permeate your photographs and comments. We have become a such a culture of sad stories that we miss the reasons to be thankful too often. And your Mum is one of them (and the hills, the sunsets, the flowers and the shadows!).
Thank you.
I love you, too.
Mom
Oscar, your comment is lovely. Thank you ;>
Mom, I know. That is why I am lucky.
Happy Mother’s Day to all of you. Now I have to call my mom!
That was so sweet. Happy Mother’s Day :-).
Wow, now that looks like a classy, sweetheart of a mom. You are blessed. Amie
She is!
