Cool! No snow in Tokyo yet. I hear I am going to have to wait if there will be any at all. A lot of my friends are snowboarding in the Niigata mountains right now but I had to stay behind to save yen.
When I was in Garberville earlier the snow was sputtering down. We got home just in time for real stickage! Now the two oldest boys are up on the ridge with a friend getting the most out of the snow.

We were advised of the snow up on your hill as we left your parents’ house. However there was none – not even at Rattlesnake Summit – where, if we’re going to see it, it’s there. It’s about as “warm” here in Chi-Town as it was in CA when we left – not bad at all, weatherwise, but there’s nothing pretty here.

I so love snow. It is the thing I miss most from winter places.

Brrrr! I’m actually surprised that this is the first you have had this winter.

It didn’t stick long and it didn’t fall it just surfed the wind sideways until it hit something!

Beautiful picture. It makes me want to head back into the hills your way.
It’s raining down here.
